Mrs. Seela Narangoda Ebert, the former Asia regional director of the Commonwealth Youth program and a former Sri Lanka administrative officer (SLAS) was awarded the ‘Most Distinguished Past Pupil Award’ at the annual prize giving of Devi Balika Vidyalaya, Colombo recently.

She received the award from another distinguished past pupil Mrs. Tharangani Keernawinna Dissanayaka, the first woman public trustee of Sri Lanka.
