The National Human Resources Development Council of Sri Lanka in collaboration with the National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka and vocational training institutions is conducting a ‘Job/Career Fair’ on November 4 at the Pulathisi Budhi Mandapaya Hall in Polonnaruwa.

The event would be an opportunity for employers to find employees to fill their job vacancies and school leavers/job seekers to find suitable employment. Skilled labour is available in the following areas – automobile, painting, plumbing, air-conditioning, agriculture, information technology, welding, electrical, tailoring, carpentry, computer hardware, etc. Before the commencement of interviews by prospective employers, an awareness seminar will be conducted at 9.30 am at the venue for job seekers.

School leavers and graduates are eligible to participate to the National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka (NCCSL) said in a media announcement.
Interviews will be held from 11.30 am to 4.30 pm for employers to interview the job seekers and confirm their applications on the spot. School leavers/job seekers interested in participating in the job fair are requested to contact the National Human Resources Development Council, telephone 2595680/79.
Employers/companies who are willing to participate are requested to send in their details to the NCCSL.
