Old Thomians celebrate 130 years with ‘Walkathon’ on November 7
View(s):The Old Boys’ Association of S. Thomas’ College Mount Lavinia is celebrating 130 years with a series of events beginning with a “Walkathon” on Saturday, November 7 commencing from Havelock Park at 3 p.m.
Students and old boys of STC Mount Lavinia, Colpetty, Gurutalawa, Bandarawela, as well as parents and well wishers will take part. The “Walkathon” will proceed along Dickman’s Road, Duplication Road, Galle Road and would end at a Hawker Street Mini Carnival at S. Thomas’ College Mt Lavinia around 6 p.m. where there will be bands, food stalls, games of skill and other attractions.
Funds collected from the “Walkathon” will be in aid of the 2nd Phase of the “Senior Quadrangle Project” launched with the objective of providing modern classrooms and other related modern facilities for the students of STC.
