Hemas and SLINTEC steer innovation in personal care market
View(s):Hemas Manufacturing (Pvt) Ltd has entered into an agreement with the Sri Lanka Institute of Nanotechnology (SLINTEC) to expand the personal care product portfolio by adding a revitalising skin care solution.
“The focus on innovation is centred upon the desire to push beyond the boundaries that Hemas has been respected for and this agreement harnesses the group’s Open Innovation strategy by tapping into external sources for Research and Development to fast-track growth for the years ahead,” Hemas Group said in a media statement.
The agreement is another chapter in the innovation initiatives which continue to build momentum for the group, adding on to the MoU that was signed with the Faculty of Science and Technology of the University of Colombo to focus on developing new products within the personal care space and the MoU with Sri Lanka Inventors Commission (SLIC) to unlock the potential of inventors and entrepreneurs who can add value to the national economy and further their business aspirations.
