If you think that all is well at a popular women’s sport, think again. In 2016 an Asian Championships was held in the island and the cost for it was around Rupees five million! To date this sports body has to account for another three million and it is very likely that the controlling body for the sport is bound to be hauled before courts before long.

The Sports Boss halted the appointment of 70 personnel of a very popular sports body but according to news that has leaked out one individual has been retained without the Sports Boss’s knowledge. Also on the same sport a popular private secretary’s services has been stopped but she continues to work having added her name to another list.

The committee of a very popular sports body had decided to curtail the services of a top sports official and then after a few days he was reinstated without any reason. Workers in the sports body are perturbed over the move. They want to know whether these rules and regulations are only for top officials and not for others!

In order to get the work done efficiently at a popular sports body it has been decided to employ personnel possessing degrees. At a recent ‘colours nite’ officials who had degrees were given 12 plus points and were way head of the others who were not so educated. Now a move has been introduced to have officials who possess degrees in order to bring in more efficiency to the sport. Will this work?
