My favourite sport

My favourite sport is swimming. I do swimming for leisure. Every Sunday, I go swimming with my mum, dad and my sister. My mum and dad cheer both of us as we swim. Although my sister wins the swimming race between us, I really like swimming. But the most crazy and horrible thing is that I only like swimming in pools.

When we do a lot of swimming, we get so tired and hungry. When
I do swimming I feel so refreshed. In countries abroad, even small toddlers know how to swim because they are used to it.
I like swimming because it makes me feel joyful. In our school, there is swimming on every Thursday afternoon, which I am willing to go for. But I don’t like to go swimming on school days. I like it to be on a weekend.

I am a fruit
My name is Apple. I am from the country of Australia. Lots of people like to eat me.
I am green but some of my friends are red.
I am separated from my red friends. I hang on a tree with my friends. Some of my friends are big and some are small.
One day a few men came to see the tree. They plucked all of us and took us to a factory to clean us. We were all washed. After that they packed us in boxes and sent us to a market. Then they arranged and kept us. After a few hours, a girl came and picked us and went home. Then her mother cut all of us and kept. Then they enjoyed eating us.

Are video games really harmful?

Do you think that video games are harmful?
Yes or No? Well my answer is No. Video games aren’t really harmful if you play in moderation.
If it’s a rainy day which has destroyed your outdoor activities or if you’re feeling bored, playing video games is better than staring at the TV.

Why? Because in car games you can learn to be alert because you can never tell when you will have to take a bend. Did you know
that playing games like Subway Surfer, Temple Run and Minion Rush, will help you to focus properly as you have to dodge, jump or collect coins? Video games could even develop your creativity skills like in Clash of the Clans, Ice Age City, Minecraft and Smurfs Village as you get the opportunity to build your own town or city.

You can learn to focus, be creative, be alert and also learn to multi-task when you have to score points and stay alive in the game.
So after all, video games can’t be that harmful if you play in moderation.

My brother

Earlier I was the only child in my family. I was happy and sad. I felt happy when all the things brought by my parents belonged to me and my parents love was only for me. But I was sad when there wasn’t anyone to play with me.
After a few years, I got a baby brother. He is very beautiful like a flower and I haven’t seen anyone as beautiful as him. Now I am very happy as I have someone to play with. He is very small to play with me but I enjoy looking at his playful ways.
He gave a light to our lives.
He always fights and scratches me. He broke my school equipment. I am very angry when he breaks my things but I’m happy as I have at least someone to fight with.
I know he loves me
and I love him very much.
May God Bless Him!

Games I play with my friends
During the holidays my friends and I spend most of our time playing games such as Monopoly, Ludo and Snakes & Ladders.
Monopoly is an interesting game in which four people can participate at a time. Those who are eight and above including adults can play this game. It improves our knowledge in addition and subtraction. It’s a game where you can buy, sell or mortgage properties. You can also build houses and hotels and rent them. The costly properties are Park Lane and Mayfair. They are coloured purple. Other properties of lower value are shown as brown, green, yellow, blue, red and orange.

Ludo is another game which my friends who are my age can play. It delights us to eliminate our opponents who are ahead of us and make them start from the beginning.
Snakes & Ladders is a simple game in which if your dice falls on the foot of the ladder you ascend to the top but in the event the dice falls on the head of the snake, you descend to the bottom. This goes on till you reach hundred.
We anxiously await for our school holidays to meet my friends to play these games in one of our homes.

My favourite sport
There are many sports in the world. Out of them my favourite sport is volleyball. It is a popular sport in our world as well as it is the national game of our country. Many people love to play volleyball.
I like this sport because it is a team game. It is a fascinating game, a game that can be played by both male and female and this game is attractive. There are many rules and regulations in this game.
We want to improve the main skills of this game by lead-up games to play this sport correctly. We want to work hard and want to work with dedication to learn this game. This sport is a good exercise for our body and it helps us to maintain a healthy body. This game teaches us good qualities such as accepting victory and defeat and how to work as a team.
Volleyball is a good sport and it is my favourite sport.
