YBSL and Shop Box to help address entrepreneurs/ start-ups/SMEs obstacles to growth
View(s):Youth Business Sri Lanka (YBSL), an accredited member of Youth Business International and the Chamber of Commerce and Shop Box, an enterprising e-commerce solutions provider, have come together to help address the obstacles to growth such as access and ivestment that often deter and demotivate entrepreneurs, start-ups and SMEs.
Vartharajah Kumaraguru, National Programme Manager of YBSL was quoted in a media release as saying, “this partnership drives direct value to all entrepreneurs, start-ups and SMEs affiliated with YBSL and creates value to their business through e-commerce. We are proud to work with Shop Box who also is a group of entrepreneurs building a successful start-up business”.
YBSL recently formed a community of entrepreneurs, start-ups and SME’s – the Y Club – to connect, network, share ideas and prosper together. As members of Y Club, Shop Box in the spirit of this community is offering their easy-to use software for building e-commerce websites to the entrepreneur community, the media release added. This partnership is in line with the strategy of Youth Business International, YBSL and Y Club in engaging with the community of entrepreneurs in Sri Lanka.
Shop Box CEO, Farthab Feisal, was quoted in the release as saying that on the partnership as a natural extension of our commitment to fostering SME’s in Sri Lanka. Shop Box focuses on providing affordable e-commerce solutions through our easy to use platform. In working with YBSL and Y Club, Shop Box takes care of the e-commerce needs of retail stores including websites hosting and design, inventory management, online payment and shipping.
