MAS Holdings retained the President’s Trophy with 877 points at the Mercantile Swimming Championship 2015 held at the Thurstan College Swimming Complex in Colombo. With the win this year, MAS Holdings has won the championship for the fifth occasion as John Keells Holdings, with 545 points finished behind at second overall. SriLankan Airlines secured the third place with 392 points.

More than 600 athletes representing mercantile organisations in Sri Lanka participated in the annual swimming championship. Among other finishers behind the top three were: Hayleys Group, HSBC Premier, Nestle Lanka, AIA Insurance, Standard Chartered Bank, Akbar Brothers, Aitken Spence, Dialog Axiata, Colombo Dockyard, Amba Research Lanka, Ceylon Tobacco Company, Ceylinco Insurance, DPMC Assetline Holdings, HSBC Electronic Data Processing Lanka, Kanrich Finance, Colombo International Container Terminals, Janashakthi General Insurance, UB Finance Company, Navantis IT, CIC Holdings, HNB Assurance, Kandana Food and Drugs, South Asian Technologies, Sampath Bank, Diethelm Travel Lanka, Green Force Agriculture, DFCC Bank, Astron Limited and D.E. de Silva and Sons.  Pix by Amila Gamage
