More than 90 children between 8-20 years, along with their teachers were hosted to a festive party organised by Harpo’s restaurants team at the Community Concern Center.

The education programme at the centre supported by the Harpo’s Group is twofold:offering these children the opportunity to enhance their studies with extra tuition or to join the basic elementary education programme for those who haven’t had the opportunity to enter school.

“Motivating children through the recognition, appreciation and promotion of their studies which opens the doors for a better future, is an effective platform to assist, especially with the challenging lifestyles they come from.

It’s the time of year to celebrate and share, and it gives me great satisfaction, to be a part of this project ,especially it being the 10th consecutive year of support for the programme,” MD Harpo Gooneratne said.
