Celebrations were held in various parts of the country to mark Christmas in addition to midnight masses and services on Christmas day. Carol services too were held as part of the celebrations.

The photographs show the Choir of St.Xavier’s Church Nuwara Eliya (above) taking part in a carols event organised by the Nuwara Eliya Municipality Council and the Police (below) holding their annual carol service at Police grounds, Colombo.
