Galle Face Hotel spreads Christmas cheer among children
View(s):Colombo’s Grande Dame, the Galle Face Hotel in its continuous efforts to give back to society, lit up the lives of many children with a grand Christmas celebration at the hotel.
A group of 30 children from the World Vision Christian Relief Programme were invited to be a part of a memorable afternoon on December 21 enjoying great entertainment, delicious goodies and gifts.
The event is hosted by the Galle Face Hotel annually. The afternoon was spent in fun sessions of face painting, balloon making, a spectacular magic show and games and the children later received gifts.
Galle Face Hotel’s General Manager, Antony Paton stated, “Christmas is a special season and is the ideal time to think more about helping other people rather than ourselves.
The Galle Face Hotel Chairman, Sanjeev Gardiner’s vision is to help all communities, and that is what we strive to do.”
