Comparatively large rooms are well-furnished and feature rustic old Sri Lankan-style décor, large beds, wood panelling and glass windows with a view of neatly managed front yard flower garden. A sofa seating area and a satellite TV are included in all the rooms. The en suite bathrooms have a bathtub and shower area.

‘The hotel has upgraded to four star status after the recent new additions. The rooms on new wing have branded differently to attract different segments of the clientele.

The main restaurant offers specialised Sri Lankan cuisine along with other global culinary delights.
‘We have a large clientele base of Sri Lankans patronising the hotel during the weekends. So Sri Lankan food is much in demand and is popular amongst the foreign tourists’ Mahinda said.
Apart from the traditional menus hotel offers theme nights. Sri Lankan, Indian, Mongolian, Chinese, bar-ber-que and Continental nights are some of the popular events on the cards.
The colourful front yard of the hotel is the most popular area for bar-ber-que nights during the season and weekend too.
‘The personalised service is the most outstanding, among the string of facilities we offer to our guests. Our main asset is the friendly staff. It is useless having all the facilities under the stars without having a friendly smile on their face. Our service is very personalised and that’s our success story’ he added.
