Wasana Trading unveils flagship showroom with green concept

Wasana Trading Lanka (Pvt) Ltd has cut the ribbon on its flagship showroom recently with a green concept to promote knowledge on alternate energy and the green mobility. Managing Director of the company, Indika Sampath Merenchige told the Business Times that they have moved to a green concept building at Negombo Road, Nagoda, Kandana that represents the ideal location to introduce the e-mobility concept to their customer.
This is the first time that such a modern vehicle yard with state-of-the-art facilities has been built in Sri Lanka, he said adding that measures have been taken to provide all facilities under one roof so that customers and their family members could spend time freely and drive away in a vehicle.
Premier leasing and insurance companies have also set up offices in the facility. The showroom complex has conference rooms, restaurants, play areas for children and other facilities. A vehicle museum with many features has also been set up on a one-and-a-half acre block of land in this modern show room premises, he revealed. Mr. Merinchige said that his aim is to popularise electric cars and hybrids in Sri Lanka to conserve the natural environment in the island.
