A partnership in foodie heaven: Knorr and Jehan Aloysius
Shakespeare once wrote “If music be the food of love, play on” and since February is the month of love, well known thespian Jehan Aloysius will be celebrating his love affair with food and music in an exclusive culinary experience called ‘Gastronomic Symphony’.
‘Gastronomic Symphony’ is a culinary voyage which aims to enhance delicious gourmet food with music presented on February 26 and 27 with global brand ‘Knorr’ at the Oak Room, Cinnamon Grand from 7 p.m. onwards.
Lankan palates are evolving and the food industry is becoming more sophisticated and it is to create platforms for more creative food experiences here in Sri Lanka that Knorr will present this event. Food will be at the heart of the entire evening ‘Gastronomic Symphony’.
This exclusive event has been a carefully crafted collaboration between the chefs at the Cinnamon Grand hotel and orchestrator Jehan Aloysius whose handpicked musicians will evoke a sense of nostalgia, fantasy and drama.
Speaking at the media gathering, Jehan said “Expect the elegance of the theatre; imagine going for an evening at the concert hall with a bit of a twist!” The idea is that the music, which will be performed alongside the menu, will elevate the taste and enjoyment of the meal.
