Molten competition balls for the FFSL for next three years
View(s):In a historic occasion to mark 75 years the Football Federation of Sri Lanka signed the agreement with representative of Molten to ceremoniously announce that Molten will be the official Match ball Partner of FFSL for the next three years. By this Molten will provide competition balls to FFSL to the value of Rs. 6.5 million.
This is a very important boost for the development of the game in Sri Lanka, as quality balls will be used extensively in training as well as matches thus ensuring that the players are able to experience real quality for the real game.
Molten has been the official basketball for the Olympic Games in Los Angeles (1984), Seoul (1988), Barcelona (1992), Atlanta (1996), Sydney (2000), Athens (2004), Beijing (2008) and London (2012) and will be for the Rio Olympics as well. Molten basketballs have also been the official ball for the international Basketball Federation (FIBA) since1981.
Molten through its brand statement -“For the Real game”, encapsulates what Molten Hopes to achieve through its products and activities its testament to Molten’s conviction that the real game only happens when impeccable balls and equipment are used. It will help the athlete realize his or hers true potential and maximize performance.

The three year agreement to this was signed at the Football House in Colombo between the President of the Sri Lanka Football Federation and Pacific Sports Managing Director Ahmad Bakar. - SP
