The latest products of Canon cameras were introduced at CP+ CAMERA & PHOTO IMAGING SHOW 2016 held in Yokohama in Japan recently. The company introduced their latest products CANON EOS 1 DX MARK 11 and CANON EOS 80 D at the CP+ CAMERA & PHOTO IMAGING SHOW 2016 at the February 24-28 event.
The special feature of it was the presence of a large number of journalists from different countries including Sri Lanka who were invited to cover the event. In addition to Canon cameras, a variety of Canon printers were also introduced at the event held at the International Exhibitions and Conference Centre at Yokohama.
It was revealed at this exhibition that the CANON EOS 1 DX MARK 11 and CANON EOS 80 D were launched using the latest hybrid CMOS AF technology. The visit by the team of Sri Lankan journalists was arranged by Metropolitan Photo Hub, Sri Lankan agent for Canon products, in response to an invitation extended by the Canon Company in Japan.
Officials at the event said that the CANON EOS 1DX MARK 11 will soon be popular among photo journalists across the world.
At this exhibition which has been held for 50 years, cameras and other devices such as printers, accessories for taking photographs were exhibited.
This exhibition was named as the Japanese camera exhibition and five years ago the Camera & Photo Imagine Society decided to name it as the CP +CAMERA and PHOTO IMAGING SHOW and show it to the whole world.
Journalists who took part in the exhibition were provided the opportunity to visit the Canon factory in Oita, about 853 km away from Tokyo, where Canon Cameras and Lenses are manufactured.
During the visit the journalists were shown the operations at the factory with detailed description about their work there.
