Nation mourns for an elder prelate

Sri Lanka will observe a national day of mourning today to mark the cremation with full state honours of the Most Venerable Galagama Sri Aththadassi Thera, Mahanayake of the Asgiriya Chapter. Thousands of people have paid their last respects to him after he passed away suddenly last Sunday.
