Batting first, ODSS from 82 for 4 in 16 overs, slid to 101 all out in 22.3 overs, unable to read the tall leg spinner,0 Ranatunga, who finished with 5-1-17-5.
The game ended even before the lunch interval as Rukmalgama CC shed little sweat on hitting the winning runs in just 16 overs, losing only two wickets, in the process with their openers, Sulochana Pasan (25 in 26 balls with a six and two fours) and Denesh Vindyaka (38 in 15 balls with four sixes and four fours) hammering 52 runs in four overs. – LR
