Singh to sing in Colombo

Award-winning Indian playback singer Arijit Singh will hold his maiden live in concert in Colombo on May 8 at the Havelock Sports Grounds.
Arijit Singh who began his career participating in the reality show Fame Gurukul (2005), in which he lost at the finals. But he won another reality show called 10 Ke 10 Le Gaye Dil, paving the way for him to set up a recording studio.
Singh became a household name the world over with the release of “Tum Hi Ho” from Aashiqui 2 in 2015 which clinched him the best male playback singer’s award for the song at the 59th Filmfare Awards. In 2014, he collaborated with Jeet Gannguli—for whom he performed the rest of his tracks in Aashiqui 2 —for CityLights, where he rendered the romantic version of the song “Muskurane”, which fetched him the most nominations in the year.
