“Sudu saha Kalu” Recreating Nawagaththegama’s theatrical expertise
View(s):Late playwright Simon Nawagaththegama’s ever popular play “Sudu saha Kalu” (Black and White) which was redirected by Sriyantha Mendis will be staged at 3.30 p.m. and 6.30 p.m. on Friday April 29 at Kegalle Town Hall.
Sriyantha Mendis, Kusum Renu, Roshan Pilapitiya, Jayalal Rohana, Wasantha Wittachchi, Nadeeshani Peliarachchi, Mahendra Weerarathna, Rathna D. Nambuge, Prageeth Eraegama, Uditha Gunarathne and Shan Amanda along with many artistes will perform in the play while Jagath P. Wijeweera composes the music. Choreography and stage settings are done by actor Mahendra Perera while make up is handled by Wasantha Wittachchi. Lighting and sound management are handled by Mihindu Madushanka while Sumedha Prasanna and Ruvan Kumara have done the stage management. The play is produced and organised by Jude Srimal.
