An Evening of Classical Music

Alliance Française de Colombo presented an evening of classical music by Chiho Akaishi (Piano), Rio Kuratou (Baritone) Chikai Kurasawa (Soprano) recently at their Auditorium.
The Trio played songs composed by the World Famous French Composers such as Claude DEBUSSY, Jacques IBERT and Charles GOUNOD, also Japanese songs and songs of the famous Belgian composer Eva Dell’ Acqua.
It was an an extremely beautiful demonstration of musical fusion. French, Japanese and Italian music picked from varying eras of history that truly succeeded in delighting the extremely diverse audience – chilsren and adults both foreign and local packed into the auditorium of Alliance Française DE COLOMBO.
