St. Anthony’s beat Kingswood by 23 points to 22 thanks to a last minute try by Praboda Bandara in their Singer Schools Under-20 Rugby League Tournament match played at Bogambara yesterday.

Prior to that Kingswood was in the lead. Bandara and Dinuk Amerasinghe scored for the winners. Fly half Kumara Maduwantha goaled both tries and converted three penalties.

Kingswood scored four times through L. Malikge, N. Siriwardena, skipper Udagalpitiya and S. Ranaweera. At halftime Kingswood led 12-10. Referee Aruna Rankothge.
