Trinity returned to winning ways by defeating rivals St. Anthony’s by 32 points to 24 at Pallekelle.

Trinity scored through a goal and five tries while the Anthonians had a goal, a try, 3 penalties and a drop goal.

Trinity’s number eight Shalindra Alahakoon enjoyed himself no end by going over thrice. Diluksha Dange, Anuka Boyagoda and Sanushka Abeywickrema also touched down. Lashan Wijesuriya converted once.

Even in defeat, the Anthonians had a hero. Fly half Samuel Maduwantha scored a try and goaled it, put over three penalties and dropped a fantastic goal. Nineteen points in all! Kavinda Amarakoon scored the other try.
