Navy men and women win Dutians Hockey

Sri Lanka Navy excelled to clinch both men’s and women’s titles respectively at the ‘Dutians Sevens and Sixes’ open inter club hockey tournament for men and women concluded at Vincent Dias Stadium in Badulla.  The women’s final was a home and home affair where SL Navy ‘A’ beat Navy ‘B’ by 2 goals to nil with Chaturika Wijesooriya and Madura Dharmaratne netting a goal each.  In the men’s final SL Navy ‘B’ out played Army ‘A’ by 1-0, with Manoj Sampath scoring the winning goal for champions.
