DIMO appoints 4 new directors to the Board
View(s):Diesel & Motor Engineering PLC (DIMO) recently appointed four new directors to its Board effective from June 1. They are Asite Talwatte, Vijitha Bandara, Wijith Pushpawela and Chaminda Ranawana, the company said in a media announcement. Mr. Talwatte is the former Country Managing Partner at Ernst & Young, a position in which he served for over a decade and currently serves as Chairman of Management Systems (Pvt) Ltd (MSL). Mr. Bandara counts over 20 years of experience in Management and Marketing, and is the Chief Operating Officer of TATA Commercial and Passenger Vehicles at DIMO.
Mr. Pushpawela, a Mechanical Engineer, is Director and Chief Operating Officer of DIMO (Pvt) Ltd. Mr. Ranawana is the Chief Operating Officer of Construction and Mining, Storage and Material Handling and Fluid Management businesses. With the above new appointments the board of Diesel & Motor Engineering PLC is as follows: A.R. Pandithage (Chairman & Managing Director), A.G. Pandithage (Group CEO), A.N. Algama, S.C. Algama, M.V. Bandara, Dr. H.C. Cabral, B.C.S.A.P. Gooneratne, A.M. Pandithage, K.W.M. Pushpawela, S.R.W.M.C. Ranawana, R. Seevaratnam, A.D.B. Talwatte and R.C. Weerawardane.
