Tarzan, a character that has enthralled and fascinated both children and adults for almost a century is back with its latest cinematic version ‘Legend of the Tarzan’.

Distributed by Cinema Entertainments (Pvt) Limited – CEL, the fhe film is now being screened at  Majestic Cineplex, Empire Arcade, Savoy 3D, Excel World, City Cinema – Mt. Lavinia and other cinemas in  the outstations.

Tarzan, having acclimated to life in London, is called back to his former home in the jungle to investigate the activities at a mining encampment.

Directed by David Yates and written by Adam Cozad and Craig Brewer, the film stars Alexander Skarsgård in the title role, and Samuel L. Jackson, Margot Robbie, Djimon Hounsou, Jim Broadbent and Christoph Waltz in other main roles.

It’s been nearly a decade since Tarzan (Alexander Skarsgård), also known as John Clayton III, left Africa to live in Victorian England with his wife Jane (Margot Robbie). Danger lurks on the horizon as Leon Rom, a treacherous envoy for King Leopold, devises a scheme that lures the couple to the Congo. Rom plans to capture Tarzan and deliver him to an old enemy in exchange for diamonds. When Jane becomes a pawn in his devious plot, Tarzan must return to the jungle to save the woman he loves.

Warner Bros. Pictures and Village Roadshow Pictures in Cooperation with Dark Horse Entertainment, the film is imported by Sky Line Entertainments and Consultancy (Pvt) Ltd.
