SMSC ‘Rally Sri Lanka 2016′ from August 5 at Hingurana
The Southern Motor Sports Club the pioneering motor sports club in the south has organized ‘Rally Sri Lanka 2016′ at Hingurana, Ampara from August 5 to 7. The ceremonial opening will be held at the Ampara Main Ground at 8pm on 5th August 2016. The 500 kilometre rally will be held in two stages both starting off at 7am on August 6 and 7 at the Ampara Main Ground. The first stage will end at 6pm at the starting point on the 6th while stage two will end at 4pm on the 7th. The prize giving will commence at 5 pm at the Main ground.
The course for ‘Rally Sri Lanka 2016′ has been plotted be SMSC’s rally guru Andrew Silva who is also the clerk of the meet while Rally Sri Lanka 2016 is being organised by a committee headed by Azhar Hamim. Entries will open on July 12 and close on 26. No late entries would be entertained. Entry forms could be downloaded from Southern Motor Sports Club web site www.rallysrilanka.com
