Jaswar Umar has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Sri Lanka Football Federation by the Executive Committee with immediate effect yesterday.

Jaswar Umar has been involved as a football referee and a referee’s instructor for the past 21 years.

In future he will act as an International Match Referee in the Asian Football Confederation. He is the Deputy General Secretary of the Sri Lanka Football Federation.

Jaswar holds a Master’s Degree in Management. His main target is to take Sri Lanka Football to its next level which is the ‘Goal 2022 Football Project’
