Decked for goddess Pattini
View(s):The chief lay custodian of the Pattini Devalaya at Nawagamuwa in Kaduwala carries the casket containing jewellery of the deity during the annual ‘gonpita perahera’ or the procession on cattle back.
The devalaya is visited by many people, especially those who seek cure for their children’s illnesses and those who have problems with regard to agriculture and livestock.
