A new generation of hoteliers graduate from IHS
View(s):The International Hotel School of Mount Lavinia Hotel (IHS), held their Graduation ceremony recently, which coincided with the school’s 25th Anniversary.
Dr. Mohan Pathirana, CEO of ICBT was the chief guest while Bazeer Cassim, Group General Manager of Mount Lavinia Hotel Group, Harinda Weerasinghe, Resident Manager of Mount Lavinia Hotel and Dr. Chef Publis Silva, Director of Culinary Affairs of Mount Lavinia Hotel were guests of honour.
61 students received their certificates of completion including the following special awards:

Pastry and Bakery – Nadeeka Fernando
Foundation Level – Tharushi Delpachitra
Food and Beverage Operations – Viraj Holdenbottle
Kitchen Operations – Dhanushka Jayasundara
Accommodation Operations – Dhanushka Jayasundara
Management Operations – A. C. B. AkeebViraj Holdenbottle received the award for The Most Outstanding Student.
