Mercs. Basketball League Tourney under-way

The Mercantile Services Basketball Association (MSBA)is all set to conduct its 26th edition of the League Tournament 2016, featuring a record number of 47 teams. The Men’s Tournament will have 38 teams playing in 5 divisions while 9 teams will play in 2 divisions in the Women’s tournament. The tournament, which got under-way on Thursday (18) and conclude on October 7, will feature a total of 128 matches at two venues namely, Edward Henry Pedris Sports Complex Court and the Otter Aquatic Club Court. . This is the 2nd tournament that the MSBA is conducting this season, having successfully completed the Ram Ratnavale Memorial Challenge Trophy Knockout Tournament in June.
