Special Task Force to expedite resettlement

The resettlement of IDPS is to be expedited with the establishment of a Special Task Force.
The Task Force will come under the under the purview of the Ministry of Resettlement, Reconstruction and Hindu Affairs and the Ministry of Local Government and Provincial Councils.

The resettlement is to be completed in four years with effect from August 1, this year and the Treasury has been directed to allocate Rs. 14.68 million as the recurrent expenditure of the Task Force for the period August 2-December 31, 2016.
