Camerati to make a joyful noise
View(s):It all began when six Merry-An singers decided to meet up. Their first successful meet up led them to meet each other more often and naturally, they began singing during these outings as well.
This led them to form a group called Camerati and now they are planning their first official concert. Camerati will be competing at the 1st Lanna International Choir Competition in Thailand this October and this concert, ‘Make a Joyful Noise’will be a fundraiser to cover the costs they are incurring for the competition. It will feature the songs they plan to sing at the competition with added guest performances.
‘Make a Joyful Noise’ will be held at the Russian Cultural Centre on September 30 and October 1. Tickets for the show are priced at Rs. 1000 and will be available at Kadapatha, Crescat and Yamaha Music Centre. Mary Anne David will be the Chief Guest at the concert.
