DFCC – Men, NTB – Women Preliminary Round Div. ‘A’ winners
DFCC and Nations Trust Bank (NTB) won the ‘A’ Division Men’s and Women’s Preliminary Round matches respectively, of the 26th Mercantile League Basketball Tournament 2016, at the Henry Pedris Courts last week. The DFCC men scored a close 54-46 win over Commercial Credit & Finance (CC&F), while the NTB women too had a close call against CC&F to win 43-40. In the Men’s ‘D’ Division, Union Bank scored their third win, overcoming Hirdaramani Group 61-53, after leading 30-25 at half-time. - LR
