School Netball queens, Holy Family Convent Kurunegala will be the side to beat in the All-Island School Games Netball Tournament, which has reached the semi-final stage. The semi-finals and finals of the Under-19, 17, and 15 age categories will be played today at the Maligapitiya ground in Kurunegala.  Under familiar conditions Holy Family Convent Kurunegala reached the semi-final stage in all three age categories as they look forward to impress the home crowd with anticipated wins.  They are the defending champions in the Under-19 and 17 age categories of the tournament. Visakha Vidyalaya too have made strides by reaching the semi-finals in the Under-17 and 15 age groups.  The tournament featured 26 from the Under-15s, 24 teams from Under-17s and 22 teams from Under-19s age groups, who qualified after tournaments held at regional level. - SP

Maliyadeva GS beat High School Kandy 20-18; Presbetarian GS beat Carmel BV Chilaw 35-7; Sacred Heart Convent Galle beat Dharmapala MV Pannipitiya 43-33; Holy Family Kurunegala beat Hillwood Kandy 38-19.
Under-17:
Hillwood Kandy beat Sri Sanmuha Hindu GS Trincomalee 28-8; Visakha beat Maliyadeva GS 13-11; High School Kandy beat Kalutara BV 29-23; Holy Family Kurunegala beat Holy Family Kalutara 22-17.
Under-15:
Holy Family Kurunegala beat Musaeus 12-9; Holy Family Kalutara beat Dharmasoka Ambalangoda 16-7; Maliyadeva GS beat High School Kandy 17-12; Visakha beat Hillwood Kandy 17-9.
