‘A Good Death’ by leading neurologist
View(s):“A Good Death” will be the topic of this year’s public lecture at Lanka Alzheimer’s Foundation on Wednesday, September 28 at 6 pm. The lecture will be delivered by eminent neurologist, Dr Thashi Chang (MBBS, MD, FRCP, DPhil), who is a Senior Lecturer in Clinical Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Colombo.
As medicine advances we as a generation are able to live longer. Adding life to those years and having a good death is perhaps the greatest challenge. Diseases such as Dementia and cancer are among the culprits that threaten to rob us of this entitlement.
