‘Susara Sandhwani-2 by Shepherdians

‘Susara Sandhwani-2, a musical extravaganza, organized by the students of the ‘Good Shepherd Convent’ Kotahena will be held at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium on 6th October 2016.
‘Susara Sandhwani -1’ held at the BMICH last year, was a great success. Susara Sandhwani – 2 bringing music that will give everyone ‘maximum mental satisfaction, good mental health and a mind filled with positive thoughts’ Jesica Rayan- a member of the organising committee stated.
‘Susara Sandhwani-2’ will feature Bathiya and Santhush, Umaria, and Wafa and many student performers from St. Benedict’s College- Colombo 13, St. Joseph’s College – Colombo 10, De Mazenod College – Kandana, Royal College Ave Maria Convent and Thurstan College Colombo, apart from the main segment from the ‘Shepherdian talent’.
A musician always seems to have had the most accurate version of what is really going on around him, and so it is with musician, composer, singer and teacher Rohana Weerasinghe who will be the chief guest at the show.
‘We all have dreams and to make our dreams come true we need to put in a lot of effort. I thank Mr. Saman Nishantha and Mrs. Sandya Perera for your guiding hand upon our students that made our show a reality last year and I know that it was even better this year. I have no doubt about it as I hear the world’s most beautiful language, during the practice sessions for our show’ she added.
