With the launch of the Kingsbury Hotel CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) arm “The Kingsbury Nurtures” one of the first initiatives under this was the
“World Children’s Day Tea Party”.  The fun filled afternoon was held at The Oval, Kingsbury on October 1, 2016 for approximately 130 orphaned children from 7 orphanages in Gampaha, Kalutara, Negombo, Meerigama, and Avissawella. The activities organized for the children consisted of bouncy castles, face painting, a magic show and digital games. The Kingsbury staff members presented gift packs for the children. Pix by M. A.
