‘Abhishek’ newest children film

The muhurath ceremony for ‘Abhishek’, the latest children’s movie to be produced was held at Tharangani theatre of the National Film Corporation last week.
With the tagline ‘a prince without a throne’, the film will star Jeewan Kumaratunga, Dulani Anuradha, Sathischandra Edirisinghe, Mihiri Sirithilake, Nayana Kumari, Ariyasena Gamage, Dayana Hettiarachchi and a group of children wjo are to play prominent roles.
Screenplay by Dayana Hettiarachchi, lyrics by Ananda Padmasiri, the voices for the playback songs are rendered by Edward Jayakody and Charitha Priyadarshani Peiris. Music directed by Lal Ananda, still pictures by Jithendra Liyanage and media coordinator of ‘Abhishek’ is Anton J. Fernando. Nuwan Asela Madiwela and Chandra Wijesuriya produce ‘Abhishek’ for Dream Works film and it is directed by Sripali Hettiarachchi.
