Talk by birder cum bird artist
View(s):The Wildlife and Nature Protection Society’s monthly lecture on November 17 at 6 p.m. at the Cinema Lounge, BMICH, Bauddhaloka Mawatha, Colombo 7 by Lester Perera will be on ‘The importance of bird illustrations in ornithology’.
Lester Perera, a fanatical birder and naturalist is a reputed bird artist who has held many exhibitions locally and internationally, with many of his works in numerous private art collections worldwide. He has worked extensively on marine mammals and sea turtles for many years. The public lecture is open to all members and non-members, admission free.
