New ‘Wine & Tea Room’ at The Bayleaf

The Bayleaf restaurant opens its newest exclusive ‘Wine & Tea room’ set in the tradition of famous wine and tea room concepts world over and well in time for the forthcoming season. It’s a unique experience for wine and tea lovers offering exclusive range of tea and winery-style tasting or enjoys gourmet cuisine at the venue.‘W&T Room’ comes in an interesting setting with a one large table for 12 pax. Such sensory stimuli seek to set the mood for wine tasting in an ideal context of total relaxation.
Ceiling high chillers has a beverage range from internationally recognised wineries, chilled to perfection. It features old world French, Italian wines and an excellent selection of new world Australian, South African, Chilean, Argentinean wines for one to enjoy.
Along with the wine selection, ‘W&T Room’ offers a gourmet menu with authentic Cold Cut platter, Italian cheese platter and Anti pasti as starters. The Main menu offers Australian Beef tenderloin, Lamb cutlets, Salmon and Duck presented on slate plates and served with special accompaniments.
The desserts are to die for with truly Italian Pan Forte, Tiramisu, Semifreddo and Zabaglione which are not to be missed.
The Tea specials are by TEAELI,

With a promise to use only real ‘Single-Estate’ teas, the collection is made up of over 50 various Teas. While it features some of the finest Pure (non flavoured) Teas of Ceylon including rare hand-made Teas, the specialty is in artisan Tea making and its passionately blended-in real herbs, spices, fruits, nuts and even chocolate with their Teas to create flavored tea blends. 
It’s a unique opportunity to enjoy the series of 50 Teas along with the exceptional High Tea menu with elegant finger sandwiches, Sconce and delectable sweet selection with an option for the sweet toothed to enjoy a choice of 3 items up to 7 items to share.
