Maunayagaya; A war between ‘Sura’ and ‘Asura’

A teledrama with a different theme, storyline and characters titled ‘Maunayagaya’ is now being telecast every weekday at 8.35 pm on Rupavahini channel.
It stars Tharuka Wanniarachchi, Ranuka Sanjeewa, Dhanuka Dilshan, Harsha Thennakone, Anuradha Mallawarachchi, Gihan Fernando, Clitus Mendis, Buddadasa Vithanarachchi Kamal Deshapriay, Sanjeewa Dissanayake, Sandani Pathiranage, Sangeetha Thadani, Ramya Wanigasekara and Chandana Irugalbandara.
The story shows how constant battled are waged between ‘Sura’ or the human and ‘Asura’, the evil supernatural beings. Asuras are aiming to spread their evil power over the earth and create destruction. At one point Asuras’ power overtakes ‘Sura’ and ‘Anantha’ a deity sets on a voyage in search of four humans to get their help to free the world from Asura.
Would their attempt be accomplished? Would the world be freed from Asura? Await the final episode of ‘Maunayagaya’.
