There was a high level interview at a top sports body. The interview was carried out by three individuals of this sports body. Those who attended the interview were highly qualified wanting to be among this well known sports body. But it is sad to note that those in the interview board had not even got through their GCE OL’s!
BIG BASH EXPECTED?
The sport on two wheels is holding centre stage these days for many reasons. One of them is that the Big Boss’s one year is drawing near and the officials concerned are keen to have a grand event as the Boss’s anniversary is drawing close in January 2017. For the past’s Boss’s Anniversary, a 14-day-race took place and the association had spent millions for that. Will it be the same for the present Boss too?
OFFICIALS CLASH
There was a big fight at this top sports body between two well known individuals. One was an advisor to the sport’s big shot and the other a well known individual belonging to an outstation ground. Members who were present were shocked at this clash and wondered what will happen next because they did not like fights of this nature between two top individuals going hell for each other and that too at the headquarters itself. It has also been noted that both were heavily ‘oiled’.
WHAT ARE THE CHANCES?
The present president of this sports body is now going around seeking votes for the forthcoming AGM. All are disappointed with his performance during the last two years. What’s more his own constituency had rejected him! What chance will he have?
AGM ON HOLD
The AGM of a main international sports body has been put on hold for various reasons on many occasions. The reason for this is that there is a big seminar in a leading country that the present officials are very keen to attend.
WELL VERSED
Recently there was a gazette notification that those over 70 years of age will not be considered for posts at sports committees. But this law has been shot down by the authorities concerned. It has been noted that if a person is fit and healthy at this age, he can be relied upon to keep up his job longer as he is well versed in the subject.
