‘Next Gen’: well-known singers and their children on a charitable cause
‘Next Gen’ – an evening of music with an innovative concept where veteran musicians and their musically talented childrenwill be performing on the same stage for a charitable cause, will be held on January 15 at 7.00 pm at the BMICH.
The evening, a wonderful opening for ten ‘Next Generation singers’ will feature Keerthi Pasquel and Kasun Pasuquel, Sangeeth Wickramasinghe and Sanuka Wickramasinghe, Samitha Mudunkotuwa and Kavindya Adikari, Nuwan Gunawardena and Gayan Gunawardena, Rookantha Gunathilaka and Raini Charuka, Chandralekha Perera and Windy Goonathilaka, Chandani Hettiarachchi and Jacqueline Hettiarachchi, Amal Perera and Nadeemal Perera, Maya Damayanthi and Kushani Sandareka and Ranil Mallawarachchi and Pavan Mallawarachchi.
Organised by STAR EVENTS Management, the proceeds of the show will be directed to support WP/Jaya/Kothalawala Maha Vidyalaya, Kaduwela in helping to enhance the infrastructure developments of this underprivileged school in Kaduwela. The school with around 1,000 students currently studying, has no toilet facilities and the show will aim at raising a fund around Rs 600,000 to build a toilet and a dining hall for the school.
