Today,(January 22) is the final day of ‘The Wild : A visual adventure celebrating the inhabitants of the African savannah’ – an exhibition of photographs by two childhood friends Amrit Rajaratnam and Shanik de Silva at the Lionel Wendt Gallery. ‘The Wild’, is the first exhibition for both and is on from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. today.
For Amrit and Shanik, this is their way of bringing their passion for the wild to a wider audience.
Exploring the wild and capturing it on film is a love they both share in the midst of their busy lives. Amrit is Managing Director of Maitland and Knox Pvt Ltd, the managing agents of The Galle Fort Hotel, Thotalagala and The Havelock Place Bungalow and Shanik is Managing Director of Water Mart Systems Pvt Ltd.
