Audi to expand Sri Lankan operations by popularising Q2
View(s):Audi is set to expand Sri Lankan operations with the launch of Q2, the latest addition to the German luxury car makers range in the island this year.
The Q2 is the latest Q model in the Audi range serving as the entry level SUV in the brand’s ever expanding Q line up.
This latest model is a compact crossover SUV with everyday usability and a bold, progressive design. It also stands out against the Q3, Q5 and Q7 as a result of some unique design traits, a media release issued by Senok Automobile Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, sole agent in Sri Lanka for Audi vehicles, revealed.
The Audi team has taken a bold new styling direction with a sharp and progressive look that they hope will appeal to a younger audience. The front features a high-mounted single frame grill in an octagonal design as well as large air inlets. An eye-catching low roof descends and merges into the C-pillars with colour offset blades, the release disclosed.
“The Q2 has been much anticipated. It is an urban SUV vehicle for everyday driving and recreation, bundling a progressive design and great driving pleasure with a high level of functionality,” company director Rajieve Fernando said, adding that its connectivity, infotainment and assistance systems are on the level of the full-size category.
The Audi Q2 is available to order from Rs. 8.9 million onwards, he commented.
Audi is the current trend in premium mobility and is represented in Sri Lanka for almost a decade by Senok Automobile. Senok’s dependability and superior after sales service have positioned Audi as one of the best-selling, luxury automobiles in the country with a strong market share in the premium brand segment.
