Sanga launches the Sunday Times – Dialog Schoolboy Cricketer Awards
View(s):The Dialog 4G-the Sunday Times Schoolboy Cricketer of the Year 2017 was officially launched at the Auditorium of Dialog Axiata at Union Place, Colombo on Wednesday with distinguished invitees making their presence at the event. Sri Lanka’s most celebrated and iconic cricketer, Kumar Sangakkara made his presence as the chief guest of the event to kick-start the most looked-forward-for programme that gives due recognition to Under-19 schoolboy cricketers for their performances at school and international games.
Sangakkara, a former Sri Lanka skipper and now a Brand Ambassador of Dialog, is an ardent supporter of junior cricket and is a willing character who imparts his wealth of knowledge of the game, willingly and happily. Representing Dialog Axiata, Rozy Laxana- the Vice President, Group Marketing, Amali Nanayakkara- the Group Chief Marketing Officer, Asanga Priyadarshana- Head of Business, Mobile Communications and Harsha Samaranayake- General Manager, Brand and Media, Group Marketing were present to make the event vibrant.
