Sleek and new rub wheels with vintage
View(s):Record crowds of automotive enthusiasts thronged the BMICH last weekend to be a part of the Ceylon Motor Show 2017, Sri Lanka’s single largest showcase of the latest in the motor vehicle industry alongside the classic and vintage era vehicles dating back to the 1900s.
Visitors were given unique access to some of the biggest and most popular brands of cars, SUVs, trucks, buses and bikes- even getting the opportunity to step into the driver’s seat and experience the hum of the engine.
Standing side-by-side with the industry’s very latest were a collection of over 130 of the rarest classic and vintage cars and bikes displayed by the Classic Car Club of Ceylon, together with a restoration corner, where visitors were given valuable insights into the skills and processes at work in keeping some of these classics in pristine condition.
Jointly organized by The Ceylon Motor Traders Association and The Classic Car Club of Ceylon in partnership with main sponsor Sri Lanka Insurance Motor Plus, the Ceylon Motor Show is currently the only exhibition of its kind in Sri Lanka to enjoy mass industry support and participation.
