Recovering under the care of wildlife officials
Wildlife officials of the Wilpattu office and villagers on Thursday saved a wounded deer from a forest reserve in Rotawewa in the Saliya wewa area.
The animal had sustained gun shot injuries believed to be from a trap gun.
The animal is recovering under the care of the Wildlife officials.
