Sadeera, Dimuth help Sri Lanka ‘A’ make bold reply

Sadeera Samarawickrama and Dimuth Karunratne helped Sri Lanka ‘A’ make a bold reply of 333 for 3 in reply to England Lions score of 353 when play ended on the second day in the 2nd unofficial Test match played at the Rangiri Dambulla Stadium.
The pair joined together when Sri Lanka ‘A’ was in a spot of bother on 30 for 3 and they associated in an unbroken partnership of 303 runs for the fourth wicket with Sadeera unebaten on 177 made in 219 balls which had 25 boundaries and Dimuth on 140 made in 216 balls that had 15 boundaries.
Earlier in the day England Lions resuming from the overnight score of 339 for 9 added a further 14 runs with left arm orthodox spinner Malinda Pushpakumara bagging the last wicket to add to his seven on day one to end with a figure of 8 for 127.
